Ring Worn Item of the Week for sale!

Hey everyone!

I get a lot of emails from fans asking to purchase ring worn gear from me. So from now on, I’ll be posting a sale offer! The way this works is I’ll list the item and the price. From there, you message me, and I’ll give you the payment information! Easy, peazy, japanesey, right?

Anyway, this week, the item is body armor Sabin and I have worn as entrance gear! The price is $70. If interested, contact me, and we’ll set it up! Oh, I only accept paypal. I’ll autograph it. I’ll rub dirty socks on it if you want, I’m not picky. As far as I’m concerned, it’s going to be framed and mounted and not worn during anything I’d rather not think about. But feet are gross, srsly, kthnxbye.

Also, just to answer a lot of questions I get asked, I’ll also answer a Question of the Week! Or…well, maybe not the week, but whenever I get to it? Let’s be honest, who hasn’t wasted tons of time looking up “fat kids trampoline” on youtube, or something equally stupid?

Plus, now that I got GuitarPro 5, I’ve been trying like hell to learn how to play Tom Verlaine’s part of “Venus” by Television.

Alright, here we go.

Q: Alex, I’m interested in getting into wrestling and want to go to a good wrestling school. What do you reccomend? Where did you train?

A: Great question! It’s tough for a lot of people because schools aren’t in their area. Then again, wrestling’s tough, or so says the fact my body’s breaking down rapidly at 26. It’s times like this I wish I had stuck to submission style wrestling…But I digress.

I recommend the Can Am Wrestling School in Windsor! I trained there, so I’m biased. That said, Scott D’amore runs it, and for my money, he’s one of the best trainers out there with tons of business contacts, his own promotion, numerous side projects, and an extremely awesome human being. I owe a ton to him and I still look up to him this day. But if I could stop the verbal fellatio (sp?) for a second, he really does know what he’s doing.

I also think the Chikara school and ROH school are especially awesome. If you’re in FL, there’s Dory Funk’s camp and the Team 3D school. Truth Martini’s House of Truth is great too, and I credit Truth for helping me out very early on.

Since we already noted Truth and D’amore trained me, I’ve been super fortunate to learn from other guys too. Joe E. Legend helped me a ton and taught me a lot about mechanics and specialized submissions. In fact, he gave me a lot of the moves I use today, like the Skullfuck, Footstomp Fameasser, and Low Superkick. I learned a ton about chain wrestling from a local guy here named Breyer Wellington too…But my point is, you never, ever stop learning. You should always keep your eyes and ears open and try to latch onto anyone who’s willing to teach you. It wasn’t until YEARS after I debuted I learned lucha libre style from Mike Quackenbush, Jorge Rivera, Ikuto Hidaka, and Shocker, for example.

I hope that helps! Buy that gear! Thanks everyone. -@Lx
